  • With a length overall of 39'4" (11.98 m), a spacious cockpit, and a powerful yet manageable sail plan, the Beneteau 40.7 delivers responsive handling and impressive performance in a wide range of conditions. Its deep fin keel and efficient hull design provide excellent upwind ability, while the fractional rig offers versatility and ease of sail handling.
  • Below deck, the interior is bright and functional, featuring quality teak joinery, generous headroom, and accommodations for up to eight people. The practical layout typically includes three cabins, two heads, a well-equipped galley, and a comfortable salon, making the boat equally suited for extended cruising or race-weekend adventures.
  • Known for its durability, sailing performance, and strong owner community, the 2004 Beneteau 40.7 remains a highly sought-after yacht for sailors looking for a vessel that can competitively race one weekend and comfortably cruise the next. It represents an outstanding blend of performance, value, and versatility that continues to stand the test of time.
  • Lanikai is a well maintained Racer/cruiser. With a multitude of sails she will do well around the marks. Her interior is like a new vessel as the owner never used her originals cushions and kept them stored until now. Instead she made a set of cushions to be used for racing and the crew. The white cushions are her original ones but the other set conveys as well. Diver was just down and cleaned her bottom and said she is looking good.

  • The boat is frequently praised for its ability to hold its own in serious racing while providing a comfortable, spacious environment for family outings or live-aboard cruising.
