I was very fortunate to purchase a boat from Aspire Yacht Sales and would highly recommend them hands down to be your partner whether selling or buying a boat over any other broker in the industry. Their lead person and president that I used was John Booysen, and he was not only an exceptional broker, but very knowledgeable on boats and was definitely an expert in the boating industry. I found out later that he also is an experienced captain with decades of yachting experience at sea. That is invaluable and a most when using a broker to purchase or sell a boat with such complexities, unknowns and variables involved. He knew everything about the boat. For example, before he listed the boat, he inspected it thoroughly and nothing came back from the survey 3 weeks later that he didn't already know. That showed his experience and honesty with the listing. There were zero surprises. He also has your back and isn't just trying to make a quick sale. In the service industry, John is definitely what you call an exceptional "full service" broker from the beginning to the end. Heck, he is still helping me with my new boat, and we closed on the purchase almost 3 months ago !! He has truly gone above and beyond. John is also very responsive, extremely organized and gets it all done with no follow up and very helpful in referring the right contacts for title work (definitely do and take his advice on) and everything else that the boat may need. He was actually the one that followed up with me every day. More importantly, he's a great guy, direct and honest. John was a great asset and salesman. He took charge and laid out a sales strategy that brought significant interest in potential prospects. His process vetted out those truly interested vs those who were there just to kick the tires. While it seemed a long time was actually very short in the sport fish market. As we went through the process he insured that my position was protected from beginning to close. It was very little work on my part and the closure went quickly and efficiently. Marcus Armenta, where do I start? This gentleman is where you want to start when you decide to get your perfect boat or yacht. He worked with us for a year. He listened to me and understood our needs. He was always available to preview a boat no matter its location. I lived on the Gulf side of Fla and he worked the East coast and keys. It gave us a wide area to search. Finally a yacht came on the market that was 24 hrs old and he got me aboard almost immediately. Our yacht is amazing.
