About Absolute
Absolute was founded in 2002 at Podenzano near Piacenza by Marcello Bè and Sergio Maggi, both formerly of Gobbi, and everything is built in the company's own 15,000 square meter factory there. The range runs from about 47 to 75 feet across three lines: the Navetta long-range boats, the flybridges and the coupés.
Two things distinguish them on the used market. Absolute went to Volvo Penta IPS early and built the hulls around it, so the pod handling and the fuel figures are designed in rather than adapted. And the Navetta line offers genuine long-range volume at a size where most builders offer a flybridge instead, which is why they suit an owner who cruises rather than commutes.
