About Aquila
Aquila was created in 2012 by Lex Raas with MarineMax and Sino Eagle Group - MarineMax bringing the distribution, the Xiong family the composite manufacturing. It began with the Aquila 38 built for MarineMax's charter fleet, which proved the idea, and the Aquila 48 was the first boat designed as a proper Aquila.
The range now runs 28 to 70 feet out of a purpose-built factory in Hangzhou, with dealers in 88 countries, and it is the largest power catamaran builder in the world. For a buyer that scale is the argument: comparables exist, dealer support in Florida is real through MarineMax, and a good number of the used boats came out of managed charter programmes with documented service - which is worth checking either way.
