Axopar Yachts for Sale

Axopar was founded in 2014 by Jan-Erik Viitala and Sakari Mattila, who came out of other Scandinavian builders, and the first boat was the Axopar 28, launched at the Helsinki Boat Show. The company runs its operations from Helsinki while the hulls are laminated and assembled in Poland, at Słupsk and Augustów, and Axopar bought the composite manufacturer Markos to bring more of that work in house. The range now runs from 22 to 45 feet and the same hull is sold in several deck layouts: Sun Top, Cross Top, Cross Cabin and Spyder.

Axopar is a young name, so almost everything on the brokerage market is a recent boat, and the whole range is outboard powered, which keeps repowering and servicing straightforward anywhere in the world. The thing to pin down on a used one is the configuration rather than the year: an open Sun Top and an enclosed Cross Cabin are the same platform but sell to completely different buyers, and the layout drives the price. Since 2018 the company has also built the BRABUS Marine boats with the German tuner of that name, which are the same hulls finished to a higher and more expensive specification. These suit an owner who wants a fast, dry, easily handled boat for day running and the occasional night aboard, not a traditional cruiser.
