About Fiart

Fiart, long known as Fiart Mare, was founded at Bacoli on the Gulf of Naples in 1960 by Ruggiero Di Luggo, a construction engineer who started with the little fiberglass Conchita and never left the material. More than 150 models followed: the Genius and the BMW badged Arrow in 1980, the Fiart 40 of 1998 that sold over a hundred hulls and opened France, the Epica for the fiftieth anniversary, and the Seawalker walkarounds that are the identity of the brand now. It is still in the family.

Fiart came to the United States late. YachtCreators of Fort Lauderdale was appointed exclusive US importer in October 2022, so a recent Seawalker has a real importer behind it for warranty and parts. Anything older was a private import or a European boat brought over, and that is the one to examine: 230 volt 50 hertz wiring that will not plug into a US dock without a converter, CE certification rather than US Coast Guard compliance, and duty that may never have been cleared. The boats suit an owner who wants an Italian day boat and weekender rather than a flybridge.
