About ISA
ISA stands for International Shipyard Ancona, founded in 2001 by Overmarine and the Rodriguez Group with a clear brief: large sport superyachts, an area nobody in Italy was serving properly. The site runs to more than 52,000 square meters with assembly halls for hulls up to 110 meters, and the yard built through the collapse of 2008 and 2009 when much of the industry stopped.
Palumbo bought ISA in 2016 and it now sits alongside Columbus, Mondomarine and Extra in Europe's largest superyacht group. The range runs roughly 30 to 80 meters, in composite, aluminum and steel depending on the boat. Much of the fleet is one-off, so the model name tells you less than the specification does: read the general arrangement and the build book, and expect the sport boats to be genuinely fast rather than nominally so.
