About Sanlorenzo
Sanlorenzo was founded in 1958 by Gianfranco Cecchi and Giuliano Pecchia and has been run by Massimo Perotti since he took a majority stake in 2005. It is listed on the Milan exchange and builds at four Italian yards (Ameglia, La Spezia, Viareggio and Massa) from 24 to 70 meters.
The range splits by hull: composite planing boats in the SL line, semi-displacement in the SD, the crossover SX, and aluminum and steel superyachts above them. Sanlorenzo builds a deliberately small number each year and lets owners change layouts, so two boats of the same model can differ inside. Read the build specification, not just the model name, before you compare two on price.
