About SeaHunter
SeaHunter was founded in South Florida in 2002 and builds at Princeton, in southern Miami-Dade County, where a 2019 expansion took the plant past 130,000 square feet. The range runs from about 25 to 46 feet: the Floridian inshore boats, the Tournament offshore center consoles and the CTS catamarans, with the first 41 foot CTS launched in 2019. The company is privately owned and boats are configured to order rather than pulled off a dealer lot.
On the used market SeaHunters sit in the same conversation as Yellowfin, Invincible and Freeman: serious offshore fishing boats bought by people who fish tournaments. Expect quad outboards on the bigger hulls, towers, and livewell and electronics packages that cost more than a whole boat of another kind. Two things follow from that. Total value is dominated by the rig, so check engine hours, service records and warranty transfer before anything else, and because each boat was specified by its first owner, compare build sheets rather than model names.

- Worth knowing
- SeaHunter laminates its hulls in vinylester resin over Corecell foam and vacuum bags them, and closes every void with foam, which is why the boats feel heavier and quieter than their length suggests.
