About Sirena
The yard came first. Sirena Marine was set up in 2006 as a joint venture between the Turkish Kiraça group and Azimut-Benetti, building on the Sea of Marmara near Bursa under Italian licence - which is how a new Turkish yard acquired Italian production discipline from the outset. The Sirena brand of its own followed in 2016.
Five hundred and fifty people work there, eighty of them engineers, and the design comes from outside: German Frers draws the hulls, with interiors by Tommaso Spadolini and Cor D. Rover. The boats are semi-displacement long-range cruisers rather than fast flybridges - genuinely economical at ten or twelve knots, with the range to go somewhere. The 68 took the Motor Boat Award in its class in 2023. They are still young enough that anything on the brokerage market is close to new.
