Listings that say simply Skipper are SKIPPER Powerboats, the brand built by BSK Marine in Greece and usually written Skipper-BSK. Alexandros and George Stavroulakis founded it in 2015 at Koropi outside Athens, where a team of about 65 people builds everything in house using vacuum infusion, CNC robotic machining and carbon fiber components. The current line is the ACE 360, the 38 NC+, the 42 NC and the ZYARA 440, so roughly 36 to 44 feet, all of them large rigid inflatables with quadruple outboards and the yard's patented AeroQuad 4 Step hull. The yard quotes speeds above 90 knots for its fastest builds.

The brand is only about ten years old, so everything on the brokerage market is a late model boat and most of it has led an easy life as a superyacht tender, a chase boat or a summer day boat. Buyers usually compare one against a large center console rather than a cruiser, because there is no accommodation to speak of and the point of the boat is speed and deck space. Two things decide value on a used one: the hours and service history on a bank of high output outboards, which cost real money to replace, and the condition of the tubes and their fabric. Support in the United States runs through the yard's dealer network rather than a domestic factory, so check who handles warranty work locally before you buy.
