About Uniesse
The Scaburri brothers, Danielo and Giuseppe, founded Uniesse in 1990, starting with a flybridge line and adding the Open range in 1996 with the 48. More than five hundred boats went out over the following years, a lot of them to American owners, and then the company stopped.
It came back in July 2017, bought by David Schwedel and Rafael Barca - Barca having represented the brand in the United States since 1994. The relaunched company builds semi-custom to 115 feet across four lines: Motor Yacht, Exuma, HT and Sport. So there are effectively two Uniesses on the brokerage market, the 1990s and 2000s Italian production boats and the newer semi-custom ones, and they are quite different propositions. Establish which you are looking at, and on an older one check what parts support exists before you commit.
