About Viking Princess
The name confuses people, so it is worth being plain about it: a Viking Princess is a Princess. In 1995 Princess Yachts and the Viking Yacht Company formed an exclusive American distribution partnership, and the boats were sold here as Viking Sport Cruisers: built at Princess's Plymouth yard in England, then adapted for the American market with reworked interiors, more refrigeration and specification changes suited to longer cruising.
That ran for about fifteen years. From 2011 the boats began carrying the Princess badge again and by 2013 Viking Sport Cruisers had become Princess Yachts America, though the partnership itself continues. So a boat listed as Viking Princess or Viking Sport Cruisers is a Princess of that year with American specification, which is generally an advantage, not a compromise. Compare it against a European-spec Princess of the same model and read both specifications.
