Originally built for the Department of Fisheries & Oceans (Coast Guard) and based out of Burlington on the Great Lakes, "SOTERIA" carries an exciting local heritage. Between 2020 and 2024, the vessel underwent an extensive interior and mechanical refit. The interior was completely modernized with new flooring, marine carpeting, a custom galley with twin AC/DC fridge/freezers, an induction cooktop, and a new head with a macerator toilet. Mechanically, the entire 12V/24V electrical system was updated with BlueSea distribution panels, upgraded AGM batteries, and a Victron solar charging system.
