About Bahama
Bahama Boat Works was started in 2004 in Palm Beach by Scott Henley, who with Bob Sparks and others had founded Venture Marine in 1994 and put more than three hundred boats in the water there. Bahama is the same idea taken further upmarket: a small number of offshore center consoles, built heavy, finished properly, and aimed at people crossing to the islands rather than fishing the beach.
The 41 launched in 2008 and remains the signature boat, with the 35 and 37 either side of it. The yard is now at Fort Pierce. These are custom-feeling boats - rigging, layout and power vary a lot from hull to hull - so on the brokerage market the specification matters far more than the model year. Look at the engine hours against the age and at how the boat was rigged, because a Bahama set up for the Bahamas is a different boat from one set up for tournament fishing.
